Evil Everywhere

I thought that staying away from dark, silent alleys and being with at least one friend can keep you away from trouble. I learned a lot of things this week.

1. We rehearsed one night at Billy's village. There were very rude kids watching us. We actually don't mind audiences because we'd get a lot of them on Tuesday anyway. But these kids were out of control. They were going beyond the limits. They were insulting us which drove us mad. We could no longer concentrate so we talked to them in a nice, friendly way. We asked them to keep quiet if they want to stay longer and just leave if they can't help themselves. But these kids took this in a different way and thought that we were trying to fight them. Soon they were pointing at us which made one of our classmates point at them too. Haha. It was funny seeing those kids bully us. They left us after that but warned us that they will see us at school and crush us especially the guy in the blue and white cap (which is Riel, the one who pointed at them).

After the rehearsal, we went straight out of the village. There was a creepy man behind us. What creeps me more is the way he smiles maniacally. Kind Tatum pulled me closer to her to keep me safe (I didn't notice the creepy man at first). When we got to the railroad (that's a few meters away from the jeep terminal), we saw the kids from the village. They were waiting for us and were ready to kill us. Without warning, they attempted to hit Riel. And because we are very loving and caring classmates, we surrounded Riel. There were a LOT of people watching but only few tried to stop the kids. They were successful anyway. We walked a few more meters and laughed at what happened. Just as we thought we were so safe, the kids returned and they brought older guys (teen-age kids). So we surrounded Riel again. I was VERY thankful to see the fourth-year students from the school. They have massive bodies and are CAT officers. But they did not rescue us. Soon we were surrounded and the kids were fighting us. Norlan was so evil. He hit the evil kid and I tried to stop him. He wouldn't listen (or, maybe he just didn't hear me because he has a hearing disorder) so I pushed the kid away which made him hit me. Soon the kids were giving ranged attacks; they were throwing garbage at us. I was afraid that they would throw rocks next and hit us on our faces so I pushed Effie to the nearest jeep. Of course we made sure that Riel had left first before we leave.

I noticed that my arm was shaking when we got in. I remembered Norlan's punch. It was heavy and solid but it didn't hurt that much. I don't know why my arm was shaking. To our surprise, Rabbi and Kuya Jerry was in the jeep! They ran away from the fight. Grr. It was in there when I realized that a lot of people and Munscians witnessed the event. But NOBODY helped. They were just watching us like they would watch wrestling on tv. And it was still early. That was, I think, 8:30 pm and stores were still open. There was also an MMDA officer present during that time. They probably thought that it was just a typical away-bata.

Evil is everywhere. A place, well-lighted and crowded, doesn't mean it's safe. Each person is different. They can either help you or look away.

Here, I also realized that we love each other! We've been with each other since second year, no wonder we love each other so much. Our courage and loyalty were also tested here.

2. Our aplaya is no longer a safe place for us! If you read ALL my posts, you should know how much I love our aplaya. Kuya Jerry told me to stop visiting the place. Someone was stabbed there one night.

I have to bid our aplaya farewell if I want to live longer. I realized how lucky I am to be living right now. I could have died there during those times.

I realized how lucky I am to be safe at home every night. I still suffer from the bruises Norlan gave me though.
