Farewell
I can't believe that I have to give up music. Anyway, it's my choice. If I want to stay in the rondalla then I have to stay in the special section together with the choir members, the varsity players and the dancers. I don't want being in there. I want to stay in the section that I had grown used to. II-Euler. And I want to be with these people until my fourth year in high-school.
My decision is to leave the rondalla. Cry.
But music has greatly influenced my life. Philippine music. Would I spend my Saturday mornings at school if I don't enjoy music? Would I allow my fingers to suffer from pain and calluses? Would I go to the mall (even it's dark already) just to get my instrument new strings? Being a part of the organization made me realize the beauty around us through music. I get pleasure from listening to the sounds of nature, the birds chirping or the flow of water which used to annoy me because I can't sleep. The Phantom of the Opera also helped. It also made me (or forced me) to see the PPO Concert even I had a series of misfortunes.
Maybe I should get piano lessons or just play the guitar. Anyway, I still have my banduria.
