VCF Again

For the second time, we rendered the VCF songs. This time, Christmas songs.

I arrived late at school because I haven't kept track of the time. I was busy leveling my assassin. Anyway, I was excited to see the rondalla, well, because, I wanted to get my kisses from Miguel. He forgot to bring my chocolates yesterday, our Christmas party. This was how it happened: Miguel was giving his presents to the people and when he stopped in front of me, he said, "Naiwan ko yung kisses mo sa bahay. Bukas na lang. Special dark yun." And so I got frustrated. I blabbed about my 47 kisses for like a week and he left it! BTW, the 47 kisses were for the 47 raffle stubs I filled up for him.

Going back, the first thing I did when I entered the school gates was shout, "Miguel! Kisses ko!". Then he handed me the two bags of Special Dark Kisses. Then everyone shouted, "Pengeng kisses!". So they tore the bag open and we shared the kisses in violet foil. I'm sooo happy being with our rondalla.

After some hours, we were finally picked up from our school. We rehearsed like forever until we were led to a room where we could wait for our turn to present. We ate, laughed, took pictures, laughed, and laughed some more while waiting for our turn.

We did well but we still have another one coming tomorrow. We shall render songs again tomorrow (9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm). This is my busiest December ever. Last Christmas, I helped my sisters complete a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle while waiting for Christmas to come, seriously. But it looks like I won't be needing something to do while waiting for Christmas.

I hate the heavy traffic during Christmas shopping rush. The usual 30-minute ride to the mall becomes a 120-minute ride. Anyway, in spite of the heavy traffic and people-filled malls, the day was...fine.

I'm still having doubts if I should should post about our school's battle of the bands. I'm afraid it might just contain words like: love, drool, uber cool, uber hot, and other words that exist in an ordinary girl's fantasies. And I'm avoiding girly posts.

Speech Choir Pics

Like I promised, I posted our pictures from the speech choir.

Class picture, our adviser at the middle.

The slaves wanted to give Mrs. Barnachea a big hug so she
would get dirty too.

Class picture again. Miguel's hand covered my face. Aargh.

The Seven Deadly Sins: (L-R) Billy as Gluttony,
Me as Pride,
Effie as Lust, Eunice as Envy, Dela as Sloth, Chester as Anger,
and Miguel as Avarice.

The Deadly Sins again.

Formal class picture.

Another class picture.

Whose was the hand that slanted back this--?
We were
supposed to shout "Brow!" But
Eunice and I just posed
and smiled.

We're like the vainest class. Haha.
BTW, thanks to Monique for sending me the pics.

nemesis1216

Nemesis1216, my thief, finally became an assassin. Yey!

I found the second test hard because it has a time limit, traps, and optical illusions (wahahaha). I had tried it a thousand times but I never passed. So I became frustrated and played O2jam instead. I found myself seeing my "assassin hopes" shattered. After all the things my character had been through, she won't become an assassin. I hate repeating things and waiting for so long for your turn to take the test. Fortunately, kind Miguel volunteered to take the test for me. He did it yesterday. Let me tell you how it went.

I was so stressed and frustrated yesterday because of some things. Then came Miguel's PM saying something like, "Alyzza, may ginagawa ka ba? Sorry.
May nangyari sa character mo. Dapat ikaw makakita. Busy ka ba? Tingnan mo na ngayon." This made me even more stressed and frustrated so I answered, "Waah! Ano na naman ginawa mo?", thinking about how my character was silenced because he sent a spam [or something like that]. To myself I said, "What could he have possibly done again? What did he do to my beloved character?" Because I am very much concerned about my character, I immediately logged in the server, breaking my promise never to play Ragnarok during weekdays. Then I was directed to the Character Select screen and noticed something different. Nemesis1216's not wearing her filthy thief clothes anymore! She has become an assassin! So I thanked Miguel for doing the test for me then he bragged about how he found the test so easy. In spite of his bragging, I promised to be kind to him the next day as a thank you-gift, which I failed to do. Anyway, Miguel, salamat talaga. Bukas na lang ako magpapasalamat ng lubusan. Wahaha.

I logged in the server right after I got home because of my excitement. I kept myself off Ragnarok for a week, why shouldn't I feel excited? Besides, nemesis1216 just turned into an assassin. While playing, I admired at how pretty my character looks like. Like me, Pride, nemesis1216 is vain too.

I liked nemesis1216's new clothes and the way she sits, which reminds me, I sit exactly like that in front of the computer.

MSHS Rondalla in Victory Christian Fellowship

I didn't want to go to Victory Christian Fellowship honestly but Miguel and Eunice made me do it. I feel too tired to practice, my instrument needs new strings [and I don't have any in stock], and I need to make my character an assassin.

Eunice attended the afternoon session of the MTAP which means I'm stuck with Miguel. I asked him if he could go with me to the mall to buy strings because I need them badly. Knowing that he's too lazy to do such favors, I just blabbed about how much I need to go to the mall without hoping he'd come. Surprisingly, he agreed. I couldn't believe it at first because he is sooo lazy. So I promised not to make fun of him, tease him, contradict him, and the like for the whole day [which I found hard].

We went first to Liana's where we bought the strings. Then to South Station so we could use the overpass because we wanted to ride from Festival Mall. He wanted to go to Susana Heights to avoid heavy traffic. He falls asleep during those times which embarrasses him. The people stares at him when he sleeps. And when I laugh, they laugh too.
Wahaha. And I promised not to laugh at him.

Aside from being kind to him, I also bought him a 20php worth of RO load which means so much to him. Wahaha. On the way to the escalator, he spotted Mark, our classmate, playing Percussion Master in X-Site. This sort of tempted him to play too so he played with him until someone texted him and told us to return to school fast.

We left for Festival Mall right after reaching the school. We should have just stayed in the mall. Anyway, we successfully transported our instruments and the enormous double bass to the mall's fourth level. Thanks to Miguel who helped me change my instrument's strings and to Pat and Eunice who helped me tune it. I was panicking that time because we were next to perform. We performed "Bakas ng Kahapon", "Raindrops", and "Canon in D" good. And it was fun. After that, the VCF Staff treated us to dinner in Jollibee. The dinner was also fun.

The best part of the night was thinking of a way to take the enormous double bass back to school. After hearing tons of suggestions and making lots of phone calls, we finally found a way to return the bass. We hurried to the freight elevator to get down right away. And because Eunice and I were a great help to him [We helped him carry his enormous instrument], he finally agreed to ride the Crawling Animals with us! We have been begging him to ride the Crawling Animals since man. We used to plead and beg like kids. When we reached the wide space where the Crawling Animals stay, the man in-charge told us that they have closed and will no longer allow excited kids to ride the animals. We were sooo disappointed. After hours of begging, this is what we get? Anyway, we decided to ride them next time.

This was such a fun day. I'll post more sensible stuff next time. I just feel the need of updating my blog so I posted the things that kept me busy during the weekend.

Tired

I still haven't forgot about our performance so let me start from some speech choir-related stuff.
"Alyzza, grabe ka kanina. Ang landi mo." That was from Ate Daphne. To myself I said, What? I am Pride not Lust. Maybe that's because I looked myself in the mirror right in front of the judges to portray "excessive love of one's self" or pride. The guts, wahaha. Well, I guess that's a compliment.

I was also happy to hear from the people that we (the sins) suited our roles. We looked really evil.

Billy told me that she noticed that our section was the vainest. We took the most pictures, of different poses, and in many, different locations (for the sins).

I wanted to go home right after I got out of bed. The camp was canceled during the night because of the curfew the coup d'etat in Manila caused. But we insisted on staying for the night since it's too late to go home. It's already 12mn and they expect us to go home? Anyway, we got what we want, we spent the night at school. Surprisingly, the daytime activities of the camp was held which was opposite to their announcement last night. Aargh. Since students are not allowed to leave the school without their parents and my dad couldn't pick me up, I joined the activities.

I really didn't want to join but Kriselle looked so piteous. Our group needed some more players so I agreed to join since I was so idle that time, sleeping. The game was simple. You have to pass a message to one player by acting it out. It wasn't so fun because we were so exposed to the sun. My left ear was burning. We won, though, and I don't know how since we only got two answers correct.

After waiting 3 more hours, my dad finally came to pick us up. Finally.

I still haven't slept long enough to ease the stress the competition left me because we went straight to the mall upon reaching home. Then I stayed up late to play Ragnarok because I wanted to make my character an assassin. And I woke up early for the MTAP and performed with the MSHS Rondalla in the Victory Christian Fellowship in Festival Mall.

This is nemesis1216, base level 54 and job level 40. I still haven't changed my character's job because I find the Assassin Test frustrating. I need help.
